No. Buyers pay a flat $6.49 for the prepaid USPS Ground Advantage label, and Poshmark’s commission is based on the sale price only. Shipping still affects your earnings in two cases:
Shipping discounts. If you offer discounted or free shipping on an offer or a bundle, Poshmark deducts the discount from your earnings. Our calculator has a field for it.
Overweight packages. The flat label covers bundles up to 5 lb. If the package is heavier, the extra postage is charged to the seller.
Why is the Poshmark fee 20%?
Poshmark’s fee covers more than a payment: the prepaid shipping label system, buyer protection through Posh Protect, and the platform itself. You don’t pay a separate processing fee or buy labels. That makes Poshmark easy, but on most items above $15 you keep less than on Depop or eBay.

Other things that affect your Poshmark earnings
Texas Seller Fee Tax. Since 1 October 2025, sellers located in Texas have an extra Texas Seller Fee Tax deducted from earnings.
Canada. Poshmark Canada has its own fee structure in Canadian dollars.
Your costs. What you paid for the item and your time matter most. A $5 thrift find sold for $25 earns $20, a $15 profit before your time.
How to keep more on Poshmark
Price around the $15 line. A $14 sale pays $2.95, a $15 sale pays $3.00, so items just above $15 lose little. Items far below $15 lose a lot.
Bundle cheap items. Three $8 items sold separately cost $8.85 in fees. As one $24 bundle the fee is $4.80.
Count shipping discounts. A free-shipping offer on a $20 item can cost you the full label price on top of the $4 fee.
Cross-list. Listing the same item on Depop or eBay lets you take the sale where it costs you less.
